This cedar wood chest is manufactured using traditional assembly methods in North Carolina by the Taylorsville Crate Co. Taylorsville Crate has made cases and crates for over 30 years.  Each chest is carefully cut, finished, and joined.   Using aromatic cedar for this keepsake box and finishing with a clear lacquer coat, the natural reddish golden hue of the grain really shines.   This makes a decoration piece or accent as well as providing convenient storage.
